We wanted to create something different for Shelina & Nizar and what a better way to escape some of this summer heat than get out on the water. This was such a fun shoot and we had a great time on Lake Grapevine.

Shehzila and Murad meet while at the University of Texas. He was a Junior and she was a freshmen. So beginning our session on campus was the perfect way to get them smiling & capture those real moments. As we walked around campus, Murad pointed out one of the spots they were at during their first date. That’s where we took the third shot down, the one where they are laying on the ground.

For these two shots we went behind the Four Seasons. It is a really beautiful spot for portraits and it was another favorite of theirs. If you ever want to go here, we were able to park for free in the underground lot since we arrived after hours. Just a tip.

The 360 Bridge. It seems everyone in Austin knows this spot, but it was my first time up here. The views are amazing and we captured the very end of the sunlight before it was completely dark.

Check out this dress! Tausha has some fantastic fashion skills and I can’t wait to show off her bridal portraits next week. Here’s a few engagement portraits we created around Highland Park and Victory Park.

Salima and Fahim are an awesome couple from out east who were in Dallas recently. We had a great time shooting this session in downtown Dallas and out at White Rock Lake.
